The Perfect Blazer

Finding the perfect blazer for me has been a very tedious job, to be honest. I have always wanted one since I started blogging and I even craved for more ever since I started following Eunice and Victory on IG. Their blazer look makes you want to wear a blazer every day even though Nigeria weather won’t permit me.

It’s  not like I haven’t found other blazers  while thrifting, but the color is either off or it’s not long enough or I just totally hate the fit. I bet you want to know how I found this one right? well I was just walking home on this particular day and I was distracted by a man shouting “buy your jacket 300 no more 1000” (some of you should be able to relate to this) and I decided to check if I will find any gem. Lo and behold, I found two! this one and a really light coral one which you guys will be seeing here soon. I got the two for 500 naira.Processed with VSCO with m5 presetProcessed with VSCO with m5 presetProcessed with VSCO with m5 preset

When I got home, I fell in love with this one immediately I put it on. it’s a structured vintage blazer which was probably owned by an old lady somewhere in the world because I found a really vintage looking handkerchief nicely folded in the pocket of the blazer. I snatched out the shoulder pad cause I wasn’t really feeling it. I already have like 101 ways in my head to style this blazer and this is just one of the looks.Processed with VSCO with m5 preset

In my opinion, the perfect blazer should have a nice fit and shouldn’t be tight. It should be a color you can pair with a lot of outfits.
